What is Meridian Exercise?

DahnHak Meridian exercise is a systematic series of exercises that help the mind and body relax prior to commencing Dahn-jon breathing and other exercises. Pulling and stretching motion of this exercise stimulates the meridian system of the body and facilitates the free flow of energy throughout the body.
People experience health problems because of blockages in Ki energy and blood circulation. These blockages can result in disease formation thereby weakening the immune system.
In addition, many people evolve using certain parts of their bodies and neglecting others. This results in stiffness and blockages of Ki energy circulation.
People who are young or old, sick or healthy can perform these exercise easily because they are simple and individualized to each person's particular health condition.
The hallmark that distinguishes DahnHak Meridian exercises in comparison to other exercise modalities, is the trinity of breathing, motion, and consciousness.
As we inhale, the cosmic, fresh Ki energy circulates throughout the body. When we exhale, accumulated toxins in the body are dissipated. Practioners reports experiencing Ki energy circulation with greater intensity and have an increased sense of well being, peace and joy, along with deeper levels of consciousness and ability to monitor their bodies on their own.
